Losing A Best Friend

God creates creatures out of love for love, but not forever. We all have a time where we will leave this Earth and all the things we love. And it hurts. It hurts so bad. Yesterday, God decided it was time to take something I love so much away from me and up to heaven. My dog Ziggy. If you blessed enough to meet Zig, you knew how much of a happy-go-lucky dog he was. He brought so much joy into this world, especially to me. We got Ziggy when I was at one of the darkest points in my life, where life didn't seem liveable anymore and he helped me so much to get out of that mindset. He watched me grow up from this little 3rd grader to the person I am today. And nothing made me happier than him.

Dogs are truly angels on Earth. And Ziggy was no different. His crazy personality never failed to make everyone smile. Dogs have this amazing touch on life where they just know how to make everything so much better without saying a word. Sadly, I just didn't get to say goodbye to him. I know God has him though, and even though I'm mad and upset and heartbroken, my sweet boy is running through the hills of heaven right now. Rest in peace my love. Life isn't the same without you here. I love you.
