Austin, Texas is the place I call home. I was born here, and I am proud to have lived here for 16 years. This city is ever-growing and always changing, with new things to do every day. So this week I decided to share some of my favorites.

Boat on Lake Austin

Summer in Austin is HOT. Like, melt your skin into soup hot. But Lake Austin is always a great cure. Some of my favorite memories are on the lake with my friends, wakeboarding, and tubing.

Eat some of the best food around

Food is by far one of my favorite things on Earth, and I am so blessed to live in a city with such good food culture. Some of my favorite restaurants include:

- Fujiyama

- Cooper's Barbeque

- Juliet's Italian House

These restaurants are only some of Austin's best local restaurants. If you haven't tried, I highly recommend.

An infamous Austin tradition is Austin City Limits in Zilker Park. This is by far my favorite weekend of the year. They always have tons of great musicians for everyone and I love spending time with my friends enjoying good music. Though it's incredibly hot, Ill never miss it.

Go to a Texas football game

Texas football is like no other. It's practically a religion. And living in a college town means lots and lots of college football. Sadly Texas hasn't been at their best lately, but any Texas game is always a good time.
