Savannah, Georgia

Back in The South! Man, I love it down here. Georgia is a gorgeous state and Savannah is no different! It is truly a southern charm! My parents actually got married here and it was so sweet to see all the places they went to!

Experience

I LOVED Savannah! The whole vibe of the town is a classic, southern, historic feel that makes you never want to leave. The food is amazing (of course), and there are endless activities! As I told my family, this is where I could see myself retiring in the future!

Where I Went

The Perry Lane Hotel: This hotel is adorable! The staff is so kind and helpful and the food is great!

Tybee Island: This island is the cutest little beach town about 30 minutes east of Savannah. It reminds me a lot of Port Aransas, Texas (for all my TX people)! We went on a boat for the day and saw a ton of dolphins!

Pros/Cons

Pros- When you think of "southern charm", it's Savannah. This city reminds me a ton of New Orleans with its historical feel and architecture. If you're a history nerd like me, this is totally the town for you!

Cons- Though this town has a ton to do, it's a little more adult (or at least what I went to). It's a big party area and there are a ton of weddings every weekend. If there are younger kids in your party, I would look into more family-friendly activities like Tybee Island or ghost and music tours.
